Terms of Service
Last updated: [date]
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and the services offered through it (the “Service”), operated by [Operator legal name] (“we”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
The Service is a directory that helps people find and compare prices for services offered by local businesses, built from information gathered from public sources (business websites and public map/business directories). The public directory is free to use and requires no account. Separately, the Service offers a paid Enterprise plan for business owners who want direct access to their own listing’s analytics and competitive data — see Section 6 below for the terms specific to that plan.
2. Accuracy of information — please read this
Prices, business details, and availability shown on the Service are gathered automatically from third-party sources, in some cases with the help of AI tools that extract service names and prices from a business’s own website, and are not verified by us in real time. A business’s actual prices can change, an offer can be out of date, an AI extraction can get something wrong, or a listing can simply be incorrect. Nothing on this Service is a quote, an offer, or a guarantee of any price or service term. Always confirm current pricing and availability directly with the business before making any decision based on what you see here.
3. No relationship with listed businesses
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent for any business listed on the Service, unless specifically stated otherwise. Any transaction, booking, or communication you have with a listed business is solely between you and that business — we are not a party to it and are not responsible for the business’s conduct, pricing, or service quality.
4. Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any security, authentication, or rate-limiting measure;
- Use automated means (scraping, bots, scripts) to extract data from the Service at a scale or frequency beyond normal individual use, or to bulk-harvest the directory;
- Share your Enterprise account credentials with anyone else, or access another business’s own account or data without authorization;
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could disable, overburden, or impair it for others.
5. Accounts
Creating an Enterprise account requires a valid name, email address, and phone number. You log in with a one-time code sent to that email address, so you are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for all activity that happens under your Enterprise account. Never share a login code with anyone. Tell us right away at [contact email] if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization. You must be at least 18 years old, and the information you provide when creating an account must be accurate and kept up to date. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, that we reasonably believe was created fraudulently, or that has been inactive for an extended period, with notice where practical.
You may delete your own Enterprise account at any time by contacting [contact email]; we will process the deletion promptly. Deleting your account removes your login credentials and ends your subscription (Section 6) — see our Privacy Policy for what happens to other records we may keep.
6. Enterprise subscription & auto-renewal
The Enterprise plan is a paid, recurring subscription. Pricing for your market is shown to you before you submit a signup request, and again at account creation. Submitting a signup request today does not charge you anything — a request is reviewed by a human before your subscription and billing are set up; we will follow up by email to finish setting up your account. Once billing is active, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time by contacting [contact email]; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you will not be charged again after that. We will give you advance notice of any price increase before it applies to you, and a reminder before each annual renewal for any plan billed yearly. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
7. Business listing corrections and removal
If you are a business owner and believe your listing is inaccurate, outdated, or should be removed, you can submit a correction or removal request through the Service, or contact us directly at [contact email]. We review every request and will respond to confirm what action we took.
8. Intellectual property
The Service’s own design, code, and branding belong to [Operator legal name]. Business and pricing data displayed on the Service originates from the respective businesses and public sources and remains their information — we do not claim ownership over it.
9. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes: (a) your signature (physical or electronic); (b) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (c) identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it; (d) your contact information; (e) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
Designated agent: [DMCA agent name], [DMCA agent mailing address], [DMCA agent email]. We will remove or disable access to material that we determine, in good faith, infringes a valid copyright claim, and will notify the party who posted or supplied it where we are able to.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION ON IT IS ACCURATE OR CURRENT.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME] SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY DECISION MADE OR TRANSACTION ENTERED INTO BASED ON INFORMATION FOUND ON THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME]’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold [Operator legal name] harmless from any claim, loss, or demand (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) made by a third party arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, including an Enterprise account, at any time for violation of these Terms, with notice where practical. You may stop using the Service, or delete your Enterprise account (Section 5), at any time. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including accuracy disclaimers, intellectual property, disclaimers of warranties, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.
14. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be reflected here with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [operator's country/jurisdiction, e.g. the Netherlands], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
16. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remain in full effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and [Operator legal name] regarding the Service, and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
17. Contact
Questions about these Terms: [contact email].
